Galleywood Reserves vs Epping Town FC

March 30, 2019

Match Report

Epping Town ended their season with a 2-0 victory at Galleywood Reserves and will win the league title if rivals Corinthians fail to win all their remaining three matches.

A goal from Lennox Forster, the club's 150th goal of the season - and a penalty save by Dave Morgan - gave Epping Town a 1-0 half-time lead with Alex Paraskeva doubling the advantage from the penalty spot in the second half.

With Corinthians only managing a 4-4 draw at Lakeside Reserves the immediate scenario is that Epping Town will be Essex Olympian League Senior Division 4 champions if Corinthians drop points at home to Galleywood Reserves next Saturday.

After that, the Southend-based side also have to play Galleywood Reserves away (on Saturday, April 20) and Toby Reserves at home in their last match of the season on Saturday, April 27.
