Epping Town had to settle for a point after a 3-3 draw at home to Wakering Sports in Division Two of the Essex Olympian League.

The hosts went a goal down but were back on level terms thanks to a Glen Warwick penalty and then took a 2-1 lead into the break with a goal from Alex Paraskeva.
Glen Warwick netted again in the second half but the sides had to settle for a point apiece.

The draw sees Epping Town move up a place to fourth on 20 points, five points behind leaders Leigh Town who are Epping Town’s next opponents, at Stonards Hill recreation ground, Epping, on January 4 (2pm kick off).
Billy Cove’s side still have two games in hand on the second and third placed sides, Beacon Hill Rovers and Old Southendian Reserves.
