News Update May 2020

Now we have our management team in place, with Stuart Hoskins, David Limber and Sean Aitchison for the first team and Gavin Simpson and Adam Walker for the reserves, we are now in a strong position for when Football restarts. We have pre-season plans ready for when we are given the green light to get started.
We had a very positive Committee meeting (via Skype) last week and have been working hard behind the scenes to give the club a stable footing going forward and we have some exciting plans for the new season which we will update once they have been finalised.
We’ve set up a Gofundme page  to raise funds lost in the Covid lockdown to keep us ticking along and we are hopeful of getting some funding to help us.  We  have also had some donations direct to the club if anyone wants to do this instead,  please contact our treasure via email for further details . We will be grateful of anything you have to offer. We’ve also set up a club merchandise website with Pro Sports Graphics giving supporters and place to go a buy various items including:hoodies, T-shirt’s, scarfs, mugs and phone cases with more items to come, please feel free to browse and have a look at the store – the club benefits from every purchase.
We will be releasing details of our pre-season once we know more about the lockdown being lifted. Our new reserve team have been inserted into the Essex Olympian League Division 5 this coming season, so we hopefully should have a game at Stonards Hill almost every Saturday when we restart, with the 1st Team retaining there place in Division 2. We are always looking for fresh faces to join the club whether that’s helping with Match-days, fundraising, behind the scenes or of course playing please get in touch, or if you want just turn up and support the lads that’s fine too. Please have a look at our Website

Finally, I would like to say a massive thank you to David Lynch for his help and assistance handing over all the social media and website details, your knowledge and patience has been invaluable.

Thank you for your support over the last few years and hopefully see you up the ground soon.

Stay safe and hopefully see you soon
Epping Town FC.
