Epping Town have been given a home tie against Hutton Reserves in the Third Round of the Essex Junior Cup following today’s 2-0 victory over Roydon.
It is the second successive Saturday that Epping Town have knocked Roydon out of a cup competition following last weekend’s 3-1 victory in the Second Round of the Senior League Cup.
First half goals from Daniel Garfinkle and Tim Curtis secured the victory, with the Third Round tie scheduled for Saturday, November 10.
Manager Billy Cove said he was “over the moon” with today’s performance against a team in a higher league.
Epping Town have now lost just three of their 17 matches, including pre-season friendlies, this season.
