Epping Town recorded their biggest victory of the season with a 10-3 demolition of Leigh Ramblers Reserves at Stonards Hill recreation ground.
Four goals from Daniel Garfinkle, two each from Glen Warwick and Daniel Ezeorji and goals from Brad Gayer and Liam Clifton eased Epping Town to a victory which keeps them in touch with the leaders in Senior Division Four of the Essex Olympian League.
Manager Billy Cove said: “It was a nice win for the boys after last week’s defeat (the extra time defeat to Great Baddow in the Third Round of the Senior League Cup).
“It has done our goal difference a huge favour.”
Epping Town, who were 6-1 up at half-time, are nine points behind leaders Corinthians, who they entertain on Saturday, December 15, but have up to three games in hand on the teams above them.
Next Saturday Epping Town are at home again when Buckhurst Hill Reserves are the visitors to Stonards Hill (2pm kick-off).
