January 5, 2019 - 2:00 pm at Stonards Hill Recreation Ground

Epping Town are fourth in the Essex Olympian League Senior Division Four after a comprehensive 7-2 victory over Old Barkabbeyans at Stonards Hill.

A first-half hat-trick, which included a penalty, from Glen Warwick – and a goal from Alex Paraskeva – put Epping Town 4-1 up at half-time.

A second-half brace from Will Weightman and another strike from Joe Killingback saw Epping Town ease home and move up one place in the league table.

In other key top-of-the-table matches today, leaders Corinthians were 3-0 winners at Catholic United Reserves while third-placed Buckhurst Hill Reserves lost 2-1 at Shenfield Reserves.

Epping Town are now nine points behind leaders Corinthians, with two games in hand, and five points behind second-placed Dagenham United and Buckhurst Hill Reserves (with four and two games in hand on the sides respectively).

Next Saturday Epping Town host Galleywood Reserves (2pm kick off).
