Epping Town FC 3 - 0 Toby Reserves

November 3, 2018 - 2:30 pm at Stonards Hill Recreation Ground

Epping Town marked their first match back at Stonards Hill with a 3-0 victory over Toby Reserves in Senior Division Four of the Essex Olympian League.

The win lifts Epping Town up to third place, six points behind leaders Corinthians (but with a game in hand) and just two points behind second-placed side Galleywood Reserves who have played two games more than ETFC.

Two goals came from Glen Warwick with Joe Killingback also finding the net.

Manager Billy Cove was delighted with his side’s performance which came in front of an estimated 50-plus crowd who turned out to see the club’s long-awaited return to the recreation ground.

Cove dedicated the victory to the club’s “leader”, club chairman Chris Ottaway.

Club chairman Chris Ottaway said: “It was a very emotional day for me and the boys, to see the club back where it belongs at Stonards Hill.

“Now that we are back, it’s time to go to work!”
